Stol is the highest mountain of the Karawanks, located on the border of Austria and Slovenia. It is known as ''Hochstuhl'' in German (meaning 'High Chair'), or ''Veliki Stol'' (which is Slovenian for 'Great Chair') and has an elevation of . The first ascent of the mountain was made in 1794 by Carniolan Count Franz von Hohenwart. Today there are numerous routes to the summit from Feistritz ((スロベニア語:Bistrica)) and the Klagenfurt Lodge ((ドイツ語:Klagenfurter Hütte)) in Carinthia on the Austrian side as well as routes from Žirovnica on the Slovenian side, where the Prešeren Lodge (''Prešernova koča'') stands below the secondary peak of Mali Stol, . The lodge was originally built in 1909, but was burned down in 1942 during the Second World War by Yugoslav partisans to prevent it from being used by German soldiers. It was rebuilt in 1966 and is now open from mid-June to mid-September. It has 45 berths, a washroom, and two dining rooms with a seating capacity of 80.〔(Slovenian Tourist Board )〕 The ascent on the northern Austrian side of the mountain includes a steep slope which is climbed by a via ferrata, the use of which requires some mountaineering skills. == Gallery== File:Stol-Hochstuhl.jpg|Stol File:Stol Sr Vrh.jpg|Stol from Begunjščica File:Hochstuhl, mountain, austria, summertime.JPG| File:Završnica - Stol 01.jpg 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Stol (Karawanks)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
